Radar Altimeter Antenna AD43013-X
Description
Description
Applications
- Radar Altimetry, General
- APN-171
- V-22
This flush mount antenna is used in pairs and was designed for altimeter applications where high isolation (90 db min) between antennas is required. Simple construction, wide bandwidth and high gain are matched to give the high performance necessary to make this a universal antenna for all altimeter requirements.
U B Corp holds FAA TSO-C87 certification on our AD43013 series of radar altimeter antennas.
Radar Altimeter Receiver-Transmitter, part number AD43013-4, NSN 5841-01-642-4922 has been used on V-22 Osprey. This model is acceptance tested and screened to meet an extended operating frequency range of 4210 to 4390 MHz with 1.2:1 VSWR.
