Description
When mounted above or below an aircraft, the antenna produces an omnidirectional, vertical polarized signal with maximum gain 20° – 30° above the horizon. The reinforced radome allows speeds in excess of mach 2.0.
Two different mounting bolt circle patterns are offered:
Standard AO1712 mounting: 0.196″ dia drill x 100° csk x .379″ dia, 6 places equally spaced on 2.50″ dia bolt circle.
Special Order AO1712-3 mounting: 0.173″ dia drill x 82° csk x .350″ dia, 6 places equally spaced on 2.375″ dia bolt circle.
